A hospital starts from scratch

The scenario: A rural hospital in Texas doesn't have a great reputation in its hometown. Locals often avoid it and go to distant metropolitan hospitals for care. Employee morale is low when a new CEO is appointed to turn the hospital around.

The solution: The hospital's executive team works with employees to establish all-new mission, vision and legacy statements. Teams are created to begin making major changes to the way the hospital works. The hospital hires The Whittington Group to create an energizing communications and graphic design approach to help maintain the organization's focus and enthusiasm for the new mission, vision and legacy statements.

Result: We deploy a bold, bright color palette and a series of icons through special events, posters, fliers, PowerPoints, T-shirts, banners, notebooks, employee badges and other items that visually remind employees, patients and the community that the hospital is on a new path to better care.
